Snowflake Painting

Are you the kind of teacher that enjoys setting up independent art activities?  
Then this is the post for you!
Your students will enjoy drawing and painting a snowy snowflake storm.

Materials

  • Copy of snowflake sheet
  • Oil Pastels or Crayons
  • Salt
  • Watercolors
  • Water
  • Brush

Directions

  • Have children trace the snowflakes with oil pastels.
  • Watercolor on top of oil pastels covering the whole sheet of paper with color.
  • Sprinkle salt on wet watercolor paint.
  • Let Dry
  • Grab the printable from bellow.

  • Dry Overnight
  • Watercolor on top of glue covering the whole sheet of paper with color.
  • Sprinkle salt on wet watercolor paint.
  • Let Dry
  • Grab the printable from below.
